Katherine W. Haynes
Katherine was admitted to practice law in 2014 and has focused solely on the area of family law since that time. She began her career well before that time by working as a staff member at The Rose Law Firm, LLC, while attending Birmingham School of Law. Thereafter Katherine became an associate attorney and later partner for The Rose Law Firm before branching out to begin her own firm. Throughout the years Katherine has developed a passion for helping families through some of the most trying times in their lives and will be glad to help you.
Katherine has vast experience in all types of family law matters including high asset divorces and complex custody disputes. She has practiced all over the state of Alabama and is confident practicing in any of Alabama's counties. Katherine also has experience in post judgment practice and appeals not only for the cases she has litigated at the trial level, but also for client's who are looking specifically for an attorney to handle their appeal.
In addition to practicing law Katherine is a professor at her alma mater, Birmingham School of Law, where she instructs current law students on the subject of Domestic Relations. Katherine has been recognized by both her peers and by professional organizations and has been named Top Attorney by Birmingham Magazine, Top Women Attorney by B-Metro Magazine, and 10 Best Attorneys by the American Institute of Family Law Attorneys. Katherine also holds certification from the National Institute of Trial Advocacy in the area of Family Law Trial Advocacy.
Katherine resides in Talladega County with her Husband and daughter. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and attending church.
